UPDATE: Chris Brown staying behind bars until June... for now

Chris Brown looks like he won’t be getting any taste of freedom until about June now. Brown was put behind bars last month after being dropped from his rehab program due to his behavior.
L.A. judge Victor Greenberg denied a request to free the pop singer for this Wednesday so that Brown could attend court for a totally different case in Washington D.C.
Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos, obviously upset about the decision made, spoke with reporters saying the following,

“I think it’s a little over the top to have him in custody on this misdemeanor when everybody saw the bodyguard’s trial and which was nothing more than a bloody nose and you have got the bodyguard who was convicted and who readily admitted he was the one who did the punching. So all of this is much ado about nothing.”    – Mark Geragos, attorney of Chris Brown

Months could possibly pass before Chris starts his Washington trial, however a hearing in L.A. is set for May 1st to decide whether or not the singer’s Washington case deserves a probation revocation.
So until then, we sit here and we will have to see what will come out of this hearing, as will Chris, behind bars.
