A Take from Thomas Jay: The Golden Globes

Last night we all watched as some of our favorite stars walked the red carpet for the 72nd annual Golden Globes.

Stars old and new graced this years carpet with some festive fashions; some flawless and some complete failures.

One person that really turned heads on the carpet was Laura Prepon from Orange is the New Black . The Netflix star wore this stunning Christian Siriano gown.

The actress who got her fame on That 70s Show has definitely grown up. Giving us this dark and cynical sex appeal definitely won me over.

Keira Knightley was also a stand out, but for all the wrong reasons. The mommy to be and star in The Imitation Game work this dreadful dress by Chanel.

This avante-garde gown could have been left for the editorials. This gown was just a poor choice for the venue. The shape did nothing to flatter what I’m sure is an amazing pregnant body.

To make matters worse the beauty paired her little house not the prairie butterfly dress with a GIANT butterfly bracelet.

It was all wrong and all bad. There is always the next award show.

Heidi Klum looked ravishing in this red Versace gown.

The always stunning German supermodel gave us a look into the past with this old school Hollywood glamor look.

From makeup, to hair, and her minimal accessories the timeless beauty looked exactly that.

When it comes to delivering on an over all look Heidi takes the cake from last nights event.

Another look that was a major upset last night on the red carpet came from Kerry Washington.

The Scandal actress looked less scandalous and more like she belonged in a land far far away in this fairytale inspired look.

The two-toned dress designed by Mary Katrantzou totally missed the mark on the red carpet.

She definitely makes the list for worst dressed of the evening.
