Both Kylie and Kendall Jenner want their names copyrighted meaning no other celebrities would be able to use the names ‘Kylie‘ or ‘Kendall‘ for multiple purposes.
Last month both Kylie and Kendall filed applications in order to trademarked their first names to ‘entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion, and pop culture,’ according to TMZ.
Although their request may not be as clear as others, according to TMZ, they both also want their names to be trademarked for personal appearances ‘by a celebrity, actress, and/or model’.
Kylie Minogue, Australian pop star, 46 year old, has a trademark, however it is on her full name.
Although I don’t think their request will be granted, I do understand why Kendall would fill out the paperwork, being a professional model with jobSSS, but Kylie..? What exactly do you do? Oh… ok.
Kim and Kanye previously considered copyrighting their child’s North’s name however for privacy issues rather than celebrity purposes.
